ตลาดต้าน้ำโบราณบ้านต้นตาล

ประวัติชุมชนบ้านต้นตาล(เชียงแสนโบราณ)

ชุมชนบ้านต้นตาล เป็นชุมชนที่อพยพมาจาก อำเภอเชียงแสน เชียงราย เมื่อ พ.ศ.2347 ซึ่งในขณะนั้น เชียงแสนอยู่ในครอบครองของพม่า รัชกาลที่ ๑ พระพุทธยอดฟ้าจุฬาโลก ส่งทหาร ๓ เหล่าทัพเพื่อไปเอาเชียงแสนคืน โดยได้ทหารจาก เชียงใหม่ ลำปาง และเชียงราย เมื่อล้อมเมืองเชียงแสนสำเร็จ ได้ไล่พม่าออกจากเมืองและทำการเผาเมืองเชียงแสนเพื่อไม่ให้พม่ากลับมาใช้เมืองเป็นที่ตั้ง และทุกวันนี้ก็ยังเห็นซากปรักหักพังอยู่ ชาวบ้านต้นตาลอพยพมาประมาณ 23,000 คน แบ่งเป็น 5 ส่วน ประกอบด้วย เชียงใหม่ ลำปาง เชียงราย ลำพูน และน่าน บางส่วนไปเวียงจันทร์และส่วนหนึ่งเดินทางมาบางกอก เพื่อปลูกบ้านแปลงเมืองใหม่ แต่พอถึงสระบุรีก็เดินทางกันต่อไม่ไหวจึงหยุดอยู่ที่นี่ ประมาณ 23,000 คน โดยอาศัยอยู่ริมแม่น้ำป่าสักทั้ง 2 ฝั่ง ปัจจุบันคนเชียงแสนที่เกิดในสระบุรี มีจำนวนหลักแสนคน และมีจำนวนมากที่สุดที่ อ.เสาไห้
เค้าเหล่านี้เรียกตัวเองว่า ไท-ยวน ที่มาจาก โยนก หรือ โยน-นก โดยวัฒนธรรมที่นี่จะพูดคำเมือง ใส่ผ้าซิ่น และอาหารโบราณ เช่น ผัดหมี่ ไท-ยวน ข้างแครบ (ข้าวเกรียบ) มีประเพณีการฟ้อนรำ อาชีพ การทอผ้า ใช้มือทอได้วันละ 2 ผืน การขายของยามเช้าหรือตลาดเช้า จะเริ่มตั้งแต่ ตี 5 ครึ่ง เป็นการค้าขายแบบเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงโดยนำข้าวของมาขายที่วัด ขายกันเอง ซื้อกันเอง แลกเปลี่ยนกัน นอกจากนั้นยังมีที่พักแบบโฮมสเตย์ เพียงคืนละ 100 บาทเท่านั้น

เริ่มจากกรุงเทพฯมุ่งหน้าสู่สระบุรี เมื่อถึงทางแยกเลี่ยงเมือง
เลี้ยวซ้าย ขับไปให้เลยไฟแดงแรก แล้วหาถนนสาย 3225 ปลายทางจะอยู่ทางซ้าย 2.5 กม. ถึง ตลาดต้าน้ำโบราณบ้านต้นตาล
